The Giants followed their regular season Summer League title with a sweep through the season-ending tournament. The Giants edged out the Red Sox, Dodgers and Cubs en route to the tournament title. The Giants combined record for the Summer was 13-2.

The NBLL Angels sent their crosstown rivals the SBLL Orioles down to defeat 11-7 last night behind solid pitching and timely hitting by Ryan Williams. Ryan bounced a double over the center field fence early to jump start the Angels offensive attack. The Angels came from two runs down in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge the Rockies 6-5. Noah Lorentzen closed the game out with a fine performance, earning the win for the Angels. The Angels loaded the bases in the bottom of the 6th with nobody out and managed to crank out several clutch hits en route to victory, including the game winner by Charlie Colis.
